Verbena - South Portland

Verbena's food and service is so amazing. I've eaten in the restaurant and Verbena did the catering for my wedding. The owner Melissa goes way above and beyond with helping and coordinating. Her attention to detail is fantastic, I have so many great things to say about our experiance. My wedding would have not happened with out Verbena and Melissa! We had vegetarians and gluten free guest and Verbena met all of our needs and our guest needs, but also looked and tasted fantastic. High quality food with a lot of taste! Highly recommend grabbing a sandwich in South Portland and highly recommend them for catering any event. Suburb all around!!!

The food is amazing and the owner is as kind and gracious as can be. She has the best catering for events (wedding showers, small gatherings etc). The quiche is to die for!

I love Verbena have been coming here for years! Melissa the staff are always super friendly the menu is always changing with delicious local offerings provide variety for vegan/vegetarian too. Highly recommend for lunch or breakfast, their homemade sodas are our favorites!!!

Consistently delicious! Excellent food with vegetarian options. The special breakfast sandwich and the chicken salad wrap are must-haves. This is a very stressful time for small businesses, so please be kind and patient if they are out of something or ask you to wear a mask. It’s worth it!

There are fantastic lunch and dinner choices available for both vegans and non-vegans! I highly recommend trying their innovative dinner dishes, which rotate weekly (currently offered only on Fridays and Saturdays). The atmosphere is welcoming, and the friendly staff, along with owner and chef Melissa, always makes a point to greet you warmly.
