Boomerang Billy's - South Padre Island

These are nice in regards to the accessibility to the beach it has a nice bar with lovely people, although I'm not sure what's going on with the office even when it says it should be 24hrs and we'd call there would be no one or the door would be locked it has very basic amenities as well...they supply soap, it has a clock, and one dresser which is super minimal. The bed is so nice, it's great for my fiance and I, as well as our dog who loves sleeping with us. It is pet friendly, only $50 for the stay or 150 for a longer stay, let's say, like a month. It's not bad you do get what you pay for. After all, it is a 2-star hotel, and I'm not complaining. I just had a slightly higher expectation, and that's on my end it did supply us with a place to sleep and easy access to the beach.

Really bad experience we went last year and we love it this year we stay for 4 days we have to pay 4400 for 5 rooms really bad costumer service really bad weather and i call on advance to ask and the lady say it was sunny we have to stay indoor for 2 days cause as raining really bad some black spots are all over the beach all our clothes and shoes got damage it we didnt know that the black spots are oil and we bring some to out rooms the lady never advised that if the towels or blankets got oitl we have to pay for i say why you didnt told us since the beginning that so we should take everything to the office and use our own stuff they never give us services they never on 4 days clean our rooms untill a day before but just to check how many towels they going to charge me all my kids expensive shoes and clothes going to trash cause the oil damage everything rooms where sooo nasty smelled really bad my luggage got full of cacarauches we have to take everything out and put some quimics to kill it before heading home we never coming back cause we pay anlot for a really bad services 220 per room per day its a lot and they try to charge 155 for towels that are sooo disgusty old and dirty never again

Not what it seems on the pics and video. Almost like a hole in the wall place. But if it an emergency. I guess; sleep ans leave! But not recommend.walls are terrible the ac unit; its like it had mildew and the tried to clean it but not work so well. The towel they leave you in the room; they look like they are rags that you clean cars with.

WHY DOESN'T ANYONE ANSWER THE PHONE. I HAVE CALLED OVER 20 TIMES IN TOTAL AND HAVE YET TO SPEAK WITH SOMEONE FROM THE FRONT DESK. HOW ARE YOU NOT ABLE TO SPEAK WITH ANYONE FROM THERE????

If you are having a friends trip and its just a place to crash because you are going to party and get so drunk you don't care where you sleep then the location can't be beat. It was nice having access to the beach. There is a bar connected to the hotel which I thought was going to be awesome, but that turned into a no real quick. It was so dirty and it smelled like salt, rusted metal and a dirty litter of cats. I'm pretty sure there was a litter of cats under their kitchen.. NOTE make sure you do not get put in a room near the bar! The staff was incredibly sweet, but the rooms need a lot of attention. I am assuming the rooms had just been painted because it smelled a lot like paint and weed. A lot of weed. We ended up going to buy air fresheners. There were paint brush marks all over the ceiling. The doors had paint on them. The shower was slimy. The toilet was dirty. The worst part was going to the restroom, turning the lights on and watching the roaches scatter!!! There was a family with kids and there is nothing wrong with that, but it sounded like these kids were training for the NBA doing drills upstairs. Walls are definitely not sound proof! And I know the staff cant help that part, but parents please be mindful of your kids.
