Sakura Sushi - South Lyon

Wonderful restaurant. I was very fascinated when I heard that we finally got a meal in the style of Sushi/Hibachi. Only fyi is sitting, not really Hibachi Grill, but that doesn't matter IMO. The food is still top quality and delicious. I love this place. I HIGHLY recommend the noodle dishes. You get a good meal, whether you are steak or chicken. And the staff was always very nice to me. I always try to look over when I roll back through the hometown to work or not.

The food was great. They served quality food at a reasonable price. So glad they are close to my house. Found my new sushi restaurant!!

This unassuming, charming strip mall sushi spot is perfection! Delicately cooked appetizers and amazingly clean and fresh sushi. I love this place and highly recommend the spring rolls!

Sorry for the drop down to 2 stars but I'm sitting in the bathroom in a bad way.. Previous review First the portions were very small. They were tiny little rolls but were both good. I had the yellow tail and spicy tuna. The miso was very good. I was the only one dining in but the lady (I assume one of the owners) was juggling the large amount of take out and my table just fine and was very polite. If the portions were larger I would have given 5 stars. The restaurant was very clean.

So glad to finally have a sushi restraunt here in South Lyon! Price wise they are middle of the road with nothing outrageously expensive or questionably cheap. Quality was good, though too much sauce on the special rolls for my taste. While miso is hard to mess up very few places around here do it so well. It was flavorful with a wonderful balance of salty to sweet and fresh ingredients. While sushi is rarely something where portion size is a factor, I have to say they pack their rolls! I'm looking forword to going back!
