Mcp's Taphouse Grill - South Lake Tahoe

I live down the street. I always stop by the bar, but surprisingly, they have very good food.

Dropped by on a quiet weekday after skiing while the car charged nearby, blown away by wonderful service, great fish’n’chips, and a huge selection of beers on tap. I kinda avoid downtown as a rule, but I’ll come back to this spot again and again. Plus the roof is really neat.

I went there for lunch today and order the Very berry spring salad and a strawberry lemonade with Sprite soda. My bill came to 38.00 they are outrageous overpriced for a salad. The chicken was overly dry and the house made berry vinegrette tasted very good but had so many seeds from the blackberries that I couldn't enjoy it fully.

It’s a decent spot for good food but nothing to write home about. Overall, not bad. Portions were generous.

Really great food, best Reuben I've ever had. We have kids and they accommodated us very nicely.
