Gunbarrel Tavern Eatery

This is one of our favorite spots, and it definitely lived up to our expectations yesterday. The service was excellent, and the jalapeño bacon mac and cheese was absolutely fantastic. It will always be a go-to for us, well worth any wait!

Fantastic restaurant and bar! The customer service is outstanding, and the chefs are incredibly talented, especially the one with the curly hair. He prepared delicious food and was very friendly when I asked for recommendations on the nightlife in the city.

It's a quaint little café and bar, and it has a certain charm. We decided to stop in for a drink and a snack. I ordered a drink that was essentially an Old Fashioned—strong and very tasty. The bartender, a nice young man named J.J., was fantastic and clearly knows how to mix drinks. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out. Just mention that Susan from L.A. sent you!

Alex Cox a former champion at Indiana University Football, sets his championship trails at Gun Barrel Tavern. You might think that this food near the lift in the center of South Tahoe may have average cuisine. But you'd be crazy. The cook and the management here are the best. The Certified Angus Beef Steak was one of the best I ever had and where the salad was the best salad bar ever. The outdoor use through the gas fireplace pits with an excellent DJ is a fun place to hang in the afternoon and evening.
