I moved out of Pasadena 4 years ago, but I still make the drive back a couple times a month just to eat here. The fajita tacos are always great, they're fairly priced, the red sauce is so good(especially when served warm), the queso is !FREE! (past I believe 5 PM) and the wait staff are always prompt and I don't think any of them have ever messed up an order. I've been to many restaurants where your bowl of chips or drink will sit empty for 5 to 10 minutes waiting for someone to refill them, but that never happens here. The only downside to being a taqueria that everyone knows is amazing is that sometimes, during dinner time, saturday lunch times or just after church times on Sundays, you'll drive up and there's not a parking spot in sight. Just hang out until someone leaves or park across the street, it's worth it.
The best are the salsas, the chips and tortillas, the waitresses are super friendly and are not flirtatious, women can bring their partner without problems... I recommend the breakfasts... if you are in Pasadena you have to come here...
First time here and the prices are low, food was fresh with homemade tortillas. Came during breakfast on a weekend and it was crowded. Waitress could have been more attentive.
My experience at this Mexican restaurant was satisfactory, considering my modest expectations. I didn't anticipate a gourmet feast, and indeed, it delivered an average dining experience. The prices were reasonable, aligning with the quality of the food served.I tried two full loaded burritos, one with beef fajita and the other with pastor meat. Of the two, the pastor meat stood out with its flavorful taste. While the service was acceptable, the highlight was the selection of refreshing aguas frescas available.I appreciate the affordability of this establishment, making it a viable option for a quick, casual meal with a friend. However, it's worth noting that this isn't the place for a special occasion or a celebratory dinner. It's a small, no-frills Mexican restaurant that caters more to everyday dining needs. In reading other reviews, I found some expectations to be unrealistic. This is not a high-end, five-star dining establishment where patrons spend hundreds of dollars per meal. It serves its purpose as a budget-friendly spot for a laid-back meal, and in that regard, it succeeds. Parking: Limited parking
The burritos are so delicious here always ask for extra cream ?
