Maria's, a Taste of Italy - South Haven

When did it change? It's been a couple years since the last time I came, but i remember this being the best carbonara I'd had at a restaurant, and everything else being great. This time both the white sauce dishes we ordered had the same canned quality. Like...i hate to say it, but i kind of suspect there's a lot of white Velveeta packages in the trash. I wish i could think maybe the chef was out sick or something, but I'm afraid this is the new normal. Really disappointed, this place used to hold a special place in my heart.

I absolutely love Maria's. My favorite sit down by far. The food is great, the service is great, literally everything's great. Lol. We've had one semi-bad experience here, which mainly consisted of some minor food issues, but they did everything they could to make it right. My favorite thing to get is the fettuccine Alfredo with a ceasar side salad. Mmmmmm... never disappoints! They also have lots of great appetizers. One of my faves is the breaded cheese ravioli. Absolutely love Maria's Taste of Italy. This time I had had the buttered shrimp linguine. It was so good. My friend had the spaghetti dinner and side she liked it very much. I will definitely come back to this place when I'm near SoHa. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
