I gemelli - South Hackensack

Upscale Italian cuisine with very attentive service. You can tell they want you to return. The food is delicious (well, what we had anyway) and the service is excellent. Get there early if you go on a Saturday as it gets very busy by 6pm. The parking situation is a little tricky, however. They have a parking lot that is a bit of a squeeze. It is best to back in to a spot (if you can find one). You'll see what I mean if you go. I would gladly return here (especially if someone else is paying as the prices are a little high, but worth it).

Excellent place if you are in town, the twin brothers take good care of their customers, good and private atmosphere, just like wise guys movies lol. The food was amazing, authentic italian food, good for business lunch!

The service was amazing and the food was espektakular! The sauce was simply exquisite! Regarding it was a tadbit expensive, but if you are looking to splurge its definitely worth it. The sauce for the Portabello mushrooms was so good I found that I immersed the free bread in it.

What a brilliant place. The food is top-class. Too bad you have to bring your own wine. The service is brilliant and the staff has not forgotten Italian.

We stayed in I Gemelli many times and it has become our way to the Italian restaurant. The owners, Luigi and Severio, will always greet you at the door with a smile. The food is excellent and we haven't found a bad dish yet. Carpaccio alla Florentina is a great way to start your meal. We love the veal dishes, and the fish is always fresh. It is a small restaurant so make your reservations early for weekends. This is a hidden gem.
