However, I couldn't help but feel a bit uncertain about the decor. It seemed a bit confused to me, leaning towards a Balinese style with random knick-knacks. Despite being in a small town, I come from a small town myself and the cafes I work at seem to have a bit more finesse than this place. Nevertheless, the food was still good :)
This charming restaurant is housed in a historic building dating back to 1889. The interior is filled with character and resembles a mini bazaar, offering menu options that are unique and hard to find elsewhere. One standout item is the toffee apple pancake, which may not be the healthiest choice but is definitely delicious. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating options and is located off of Main Street in Grafton, so it may require a bit of searching to find it.
The waitstaff, dressed in black with bowler hats, were friendly and quick. The tea served in a pot and coffee made just how I like it were both excellent. The cinnamon and apple tartlet we shared was delicious. The cafe, decorated like an Arabian tent, is located in an old building that also includes a library, a recycling center, a woodturner's shop, and possibly more. It was a great discovery.
