Tacos Gavilan - South Gate

Very tasty, clean and affordable place. I really loved my culinary experience here, 10/10 would recommend!

Place spot is pretty decent. Alot of space and they have drive-thru. Food is good. I have tried the asada quesadilla and frijoles de olla and killed it. My boyfriend had the pastor burrito and suggested the meat could of been a little more meatier. Lol overall it was good.

I have been to the Hollywood and Sunset location several times and loved the food. It's cheap and good. Then I saw this one on Firestone blv . This one has a drive through and is bigger.

A rated restaurant. plenty of parking. Also drive-thru. unfortunately my burrito was too salty. Also my friends burrito was too salty. so I unwrap my burrito I found out that it was a rice was too salty. I give the burrito ?.

I was incredibly disappointed by this food (and a bit disgusted). The pot of refried beans was just liquid...almost like it had been watered down. The chicken in the tacos looked nothing like chicken and it was like each tiny piece had been deep fried. The pork quesadilla was drenched in grease and the smashed avocado was fizzy. Ended up leaving most of it as I was worried it'd make me ill. All the other reviews are quite positive so maybe this was a one-off but I'd definitely never order from there again.
