Riverside Pizza Pub - South Elgin

The staff here are incredibly friendly and the pizza is great. We had a bit of a wait for a table on a busy Saturday night and the hostess kept us very current on our status, being super proactive. Our waiter was also super friendly and accommodating. All the sports are on their many TVs. I've been here a couple times and will be back for sure.

We were in town visiting some family and they ordered from Riverside. I was able to enjoy a gluten free pizza and it was quite good! Everyone seemed to like their pizza as well. The gluten free thin crust was crunchy and flavorful.

UPDATED: Dined in on a Tuesday afternoon. Still a busy place, but service from Sara was friendly and efficient. Southwest Salad was even larger than I remembered from carry-out and still delicious. Surprised that pizzas are half-price on Tuesdays and Left Hand Milk Stout beer was super-cheap since Happy Hour. ORIGINAL: Trying some fun local places for carry-out for our staycation. Starting here! We ordered a southwest salad, as well as a personal (10 vegetarian pizza. Ready right on time; the pizza was still very hot. I love the spiciness of the chipotle dressing for the salad. My husband loves the big pieces of veggies on the pizza so you can actually taste them. Both were delicious with a generous amount of toppings. We'll be back!

This was a really fun restaurant... Good for families and dates and just hanging out. atmosphere is welcoming and casual. thanksgiving, turkey cranberry gravy pizza was a lovely surprise in its tastiness. get the giant pretzel with dipping sauce. Very tasty.

I ordered an Italian beef sandwich literally as they were closing for the night. I called ahead with my apologies and they helped me right away with no issues and served me up a sandwich so good I have to come back. Really great people and service, and even better food!
