Excellent parking, selection of craftsmen, half-buffet style, only the ticket of everyone happy, good service, happy mix of diners and local drinkers

Had a drink here New Year’s Day and read good reviews about the food, having not eaten here for 15 years, knowing it had changed hands many times. Owner and staff (family run) all nice and friendly, very welcoming. Foot was delicious and the portions...were generous to say the very least, highly recommend the prawn starter it was out of this world! Lovely outdoor area with heaters for the smokers too.

Little country pub has became our most favourite little drinking spot. Tucked away in a little location off the A444. Popped in one night on mine and my friends way home from work and instantly became our regular. A beautiful little family run pub, the...most friendly owners and an amazing atmosphere. We became part of the little community and feel like part of the furniture. The service is second to non, the drink selection is perfect and the food is widely ranged with insane portions. Sadly learnt they have to move onto pastures new, we will be so so sad that this has to come to an end as it’s literally the highlight of my working day. Cannot praise this place enough. If you’ve not been yet, then you have until the 3rd to make it down here before it sadly has to go x

We visited here especially for the pizzas but found out they don’t do them anymore even though they are on their website. They have a 8” garlic pizza bread as a starter so we decided that that was a good option. This wasn’t a pizza...at all it was actually 4 slices of baguette with some tasteless garlic butter on very disappointing. The foot long hot dog came and it was a cheap chip shop style sausage that was pretty tasteless. We also had nachos very dry just nachos with cheese on no salsa, sour cream or guacamole. Their chips are good though! We used to visit here a lot pre covid so thought we would start again but sadly the food has really gone downhill so this was our last visit here.

We visited a family meeting and were very impressed by the restaurant. We had the Sunday lunch menu, 8 people with a variety of dishes from the menu. Our booked table was ready for us, and we were quickly and efficiently served by waiters, although the restaurant was pretty busy. Everyone in the party agreed that his meal was well cooked, and there was a lot of it. Drinks were also quite expensive. Especially the quality (and portion size) was commented by everyone, our age from 37 to 87. All in all a very good culinary experience. We will return!
