Barge Restaurant Bar Grill

We had a nice, relaxing evening. Our table was ready when we arrived for our reservation. The service and food were good. The view across the river is great at night. I enjoyed the duck breast with pureed parsnips and green beans.

I was quite disappointed with my visit. They had run out of scallops and desserts, and I had to request bread after waiting 20 minutes. The service was slow, and our entrees took over an hour to arrive. Additionally, the drinks were overpriced. While the food we did have was incredible, I don't think it justifies the cost, and I won't be returning for this experience.

In April 2018, I enjoyed arriving by boat, and the view was lovely. However, the food was just mediocre and didn't leave a strong impression. I found the prices to be quite steep, especially for the sweet tea, which was $3.50. My family has decided not to return because of the high prices. We had hoped to stop there for a meal while boating, but we'll only check back in 2019 to see if the prices have gone down during the boating season.

This restaurant, located on a barge, offers stunning views at night. The food is excellent and presented in an elegant manner. Be sure to park at the top and enjoy a short walk to the barge, as parking is not available right next to it.
