Harbourside Cafe - SOUTH CARNARVON

Although not inexpensive, we tried the seafood green curry with fresh snapper and shrimp at this restaurant. The curry had an Indian twist, cooked by Indian chefs who cater to fellow Indian food enthusiasts. We found it to be excellent and definitely worth every penny spent.

This is likely the only seafood restaurant on this side of town, near the city center but close to the pier. The service was excellent, with the gentleman (who I presume is the owner) serving water as if it were a high-end restaurant, and taking our orders professionally. The food was prepared with fresh seafood, evident from the taste. The only downside was that the prices of the dishes were somewhat high.
