They even offer larger family-sized salads, which I’ve frequently brought home for dinner! The chef is always accommodating, making it easy to customize your order on the Toast website, which securely accepts Apple Pay or debit/credit card payments for a quick and hassle-free transaction. Your salad will be ready at the carry-out table in just about five minutes. This place is truly a gem, and we're so fortunate to have such a fantastic resource in our community! Supporting this local business is a delicious way to treat yourself.
I can't wait to visit again! The salad was fantastic! Plus, the garlic bread and dipping sauce were absolutely delightful. I really appreciated having a healthy option that didn’t taste artificial at all. Everything was fresh!
I 've been here multiple times. The food is great, but prices are high and the owner is borderline rude. He wouldn 't let me use two coupons even though they say nothing about one per order. The front counter lady only gave half a punch on the punch card for a small salad despite the card saying buy 10 salads get one free. Additionally, my salad bowl was not filled to the top, which is unacceptable for a salad costing $17. This is not how a small business gets loyal customers.
**Pros:** This is a local small business with healthy options, conveniently located, and a diverse menu. The staff was friendly, the portion sizes were decent, and it's a great option for quick takeout. **Cons:** However, the prices were a bit steep. The chicken was neither grilled nor homemade and certainly didn’t justify the extra cost—it tasted like that bland, watery chunk chicken you find in the frozen aisle, which is boiled and poorly grilled. Also, there was no lime (insert sad face). I've been eager to try this place for quite some time. I enjoy making salads at home and cooking as a hobby. Today, I decided to stop in and ordered a small Southwest Salad for $9, which seemed reasonable. However, that didn’t include any protein, so I had to add an additional $5 for grilled chicken. That brought the total to $14 for a small salad that is barely enough for one person. After adding a drink and a cookie, my bill climbed to over $21, which wouldn’t have been an issue if the portion and quality matched the price. Unfortunately, the chicken ruined the salad, and I ended up wasting the extra $5 because I chose not to eat it. I recognize that grocery prices are at an all-time high, so I understand the challenges businesses face. However, as a regular consumer who doesn’t benefit from wholesale prices like restaurants do, I could have made the same salad at home, with real grilled chicken, for a fraction of the cost. I really wanted to like this place, but at this point, I don’t see myself returning due to the price versus quality. Perhaps their other protein options are better, but I cannot recommend the chicken if you value fresh ingredients. That said, I sincerely hope they succeed, as there are plenty of people who prefer not to cook at home, and this can be a convenient option for them. Plus, I would much rather support a locally-owned business than a chain.
Awesome lunch spot!!! Salads always made to order with high quality, fresh ingredients. House made dressings complement the salad, not overpower it! Staff is very friendly. Just hits the spot right after a good workout or a good bike ride when I'm ready to refuel!
