Texas Roadhouse - South Bend

My wife and I sung at South Bend on Saturday 9 July 2022. We haven't been in a Texas Roadhouse long, but I was impressed! When we arrived, the place was full. We did the call-ahead sessions and the hostess immediately set us up. The person who brought us to the table stopped at the kitchen to get some hot rolls we could enjoy as soon as we sat. With so many restaurants that are short occupied, this management team is doing a great job! In addition to our waitress, there were people who delivered food and cleaned other people's tables. They all seem to enjoy their job. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I both had the rib eye steak dinner. It came with two sides. We both ordered the loaded baked potato (99 cent up charge for loaded) and the side dinner salad. The steaks and seasoning, ordered medium, were perfect. The side salads were also very good. They were fresh with a nice variety of vegetables. The baked potatoes were okay but would not pay for the up charge again. The bacon bits, cheese and sour cream were just minimal and the potato was not hot. We definitely will go back for the steaks!

Best Steaks compared to other steakhouse chains! I always get the ribeye! *update* Went again still phenomenal! *update#2* I'm picking out my steaks and its super delicious!!

Since I'm usually by myself I sit at the bar. The bar staff are more than bartenders. They are great white staff, busy but often take the time to try to get to know the customer. And they're often and when there's there is any issue with how my food is prepped, which is very seldom, they take care of it. I'm also convinced that this is one of the best values in town as well. They do have a secret. If you ask for some peanuts they will give them to you. Just don't go putting them on the floor anymore. :

Texas Roadhouse has good steaks. Their green beans have a great smoke flavor. During Covid we ordered it to go and it was really good each time. Customer service is generally good.
