Ichiban Golden Dragon - South Bend

Have eaten twice since I moved to the area recently, and my husband and I absolutely LOVE it! The prices are not cheap, but the food is more than worth. Both times we got sushi for takeout, and it was absolutely fantastic. The drive thru pick-up window is very convenient and they prepared our orders very quickly. Sweet tea is also delicious. We will definitely get our sushi here and maybe also try some of the hot kitchen! According to other reviews here, we have come to the conclusion that if you are nice to people, they will be beautiful again. I worked a few years ago as a waitress and the people think they can be very rude for the staff and expect that you just have to take it. So yes I still visit after the reading plan, because for us it was fantastic

I can't talk for anything on the menu, but I'll get the Poke Bowls from here regularly with the drive thru and I'm always happy with what is provided. The fish and other ingredients in the Poke bowls are always fresh and tasty. They are a bit on the expensive side, and not as good as the (Cheaper) Poke Bowls by Star Ginger at Notre Dame, but still great. I would recommend to try the dishes at Ichiban at least once and see if you like them.

If you are looking for an amazing Chinese food in South Bend, this is the best place. All meats are delicious, the pork is the best, there are plenty of meat in rice and the pork rolls are super delicious.

Absolutely wonderful experiences every time we order. My husband would eat here every night if I left him. Eating is always excellent quality and the staff is super friendly!

I've been a loyal IGD customer for several years now, and while their American Chinese and sushi menus are both good, what always keeps me coming back is the authentic Sichuanese menu! I only wish I could eat it for every meal, from the tomato and egg stir fry to the fish and tofu in chili sauce, and everything in between. There's a reason food from Sichuan is among the world's best cuisines, and Ichiban is where I get my fix! I can't say that I've ever had a bad experience with the staff, as others have claimed in their reviews, but I personally believe you get back what you put into the world, so I believe in being respectful at all times. They've never messed up my order, either, and when some ingredient is out of stock (normally the Chinese eggplant, which is difficult to come by in the first place), they always phone me to ask if I can make a substitution. Incidentally, I'm sitting in their parking lot while I write this, waiting for my takeout to be ready. Hi guys!
