Zi’ntonio - SORRENTO

Had two fantastic meals here in April. Lovely restaurant, great menu. Had three courses and wine both evenings and our only regret was that we hadn't discovered this place earlier in the holiday. There are a number of great places to eat in Sorrento this was definitely one of our top two!

Easy to reserve a table online. Great menu choices. Our waiter was very friendly, cheerful. Squash blossoms for an appetizer were excellent! We had a squid salad and the gnocchi with marinara sauce. Too full for dessert. 1/2 bottle of white and and a Aperol spritzer.

This was an OK restaurant. I had the ravioli which was pleasant but nothing special. I also ordered a side salad for 4 EUR which was a bit of a joke really. Literally just messy shredded cheap iceberg lettuce in a bowl with some watery dressing pretty shameful to be honest! Prices were average, service was OK a bit pushy. I think they are well aware that their trade is mainly tourist and therefore have no interest in trying to get people to return.

Un posto fantastico, con camerieri molto disponibili. La cena di pesce era eccezionale, con una qualità impeccabile e un prezzo adeguato alla freschezza del pesce. Abbiamo provato il calore del mare precipitoso e lo abbiamo accompagnato con provola, melanzane e delizioso pesce spada. Consigliato! Avanti.

Ho mangiato due volte in questo ristorante su consiglio dell'hotel e devo dire che non sono rimasto così entusiasta (parlo della cucina). I fiori di zucca fritti non ci sono piaciuti e nonostante fossimo in 7 persone, nessuno li ha finiti e non ci è stato chiesto il motivo. Gli gnocchi erano leggermente scadenti e la pizza piuttosto deludente per essere nel paese. Il prezzo è decisamente alto. Devo però dare merito al personale, che ho trovato estremamente gentile e professionale.
