Sovana is a small medieval village in the middle of the wild inner part of Suouthern Tuscan Maremma. Boars and sheep crowd the etruscan remains hidden in the bushy woods. Etruscan trails get you through this beaury and from a village to the next. This way you can reach Sovana and have a nice stop in this easy and friendly place where you can relax in the company of a good glass of wine and a tasty snack.

My girlfriend and I stopped here for lunch: the place is beautiful, simple but beautiful and gives a lot the feeling of being in a tavern managed by friends. we took two sandwiches with salami of wild boar, pecorino and asparagus cream (one) and artichokes (the other) both very good, an appetizer of cheese and salami (all excellent) and bread, sugar and wine at the end (to try and however good.) together we had craft beers and, at the end of the meal, a metanfetamina. it was all very good and, always there at the tavern, you can buy wines and other excellent local products. recommended!

Small wine shop on the side of the street, found by chance (and fortunately) after a visit to the Etruscan tombs. excellent, from wine to cutter, we have drunk a really unparalleled pecorino, salami and local and quality cheeses, served with jams and jams that were perfectly matched with the flavors of the cutter, tartare equally good, quite abundant portions, and a great note of merit to the restaurateurs/camerieri very helpful, friendly and prepared. all for a small price. highly recommended.
