And good enough if you 're looking for somewhere to eat after skiing. One person got the King cut Prime rib and wanted medium rare. He got it medium well. Another person ordered the 8oz filet as medium and it was rare. Another person order a ribeye as medium rare and got it well done. I would say be careful with the steaks. Pizza good sandwiches good apps good beer cheap Service great. I 'd come back again if it 's late and I want somewhere easy and quick to eat after skiing.
Okay its actually a 4 but with a few negative low rating number people that must be the local competition I felt this place needed to be bumped up. This is an old school place which I look for all over the U.S. It is not real fancy but I am all about the food. The food was very good as I had the small prime rib which was the biggest 14 OZ. I have ever had and my wife had the king crab legs. We had 1/2 litre wine the old school way. The entrees come with two sides which are also good size. We had to take some food home. We found this place the old school way by driving by and seeing it packed and all local license plates. No yups here. If you don't like this kind of place go find an Applebees.
The food was very good and the service was great. I'd definitely recommend it if you need food in the area.
This used to be one of our favorite stops on the mountain. It is now under new management and called Sullivan's Bar and Grill. BLUF: Food was decent. Service was horrible. When we walked in, there were only 3 seated tables, and we were told they couldn't seat us for 20 minutes. Since I was in a walking boot after recent surgery, we asked to be allowed to at least sit at one of the many empty tables, and they obliged. 20 minutes later, a disgruntled waitress came to us and complained that someone else should have been there sooner, but promptly took our orders. When we got our food, my steak was prepared as my husbands was to be, and his as mine was to be I sent mine back to be less rare. The waitress had forgotten to bring out salads, and we had to ask for them when we got our meals. The steak/prime rib was good; veggies looked to be from a can. We weren't sure why service was so slow when there were only a handful of tables the whole time we were there, but someone in shorts and a T Shirt came and apologized! The only part of the service that was quick was the check. That came fast, and she was quick to cash it out (well before we were finished eating)! We will truly miss going to the Laurel Mountain Inn!
This place is under new management and now called Sullivan's Bar and Grill. This was unbelievable! I live 4+ hours away, but I guarantee every time im in the area, I will be stopping here! When I looked at the prices I was expecting basic bar quality food, but when it came out, I couldn't fathom what I was seeing. There was a tremendous amount of food, and everything was an incredible quality! I honestly don't understand how they are making money with how high quality the food is at this price point. Go here, every single day you are in the area!!!!
