Dachrestaurant La Tourelle - Solothurn

We found this restaurant by chance and were lucky to get the last table. The two young waiters were very friendly and attentive and they really made us enjoy the evening. Even though this is a restaurant for fine dining, the atmosphere is rather relaxed; we were dressed rather casually (though no jeans and sneakers) but that was not a problem.We ordered the 3-course meal which was presented very nicely. The food quality was excellent but unfortunately the meat of the main course was already a bit cold. The dessert was delicious but maybe a tick too sweet from my point of view but this is personal preference.Prices are very reasonable for this type of restaurant (in Switzerland). The restaurant has a small terrace which is however not open in winter (only used by smokers). The view on the city must be quite nice in summer time.

While on a 2-day bicycle trip with a friend we wanted something nice to eat after a long day of pedaling. We chose this place for the view they apparently had. The did indeed have a great view. If you manage to get a place outside the seating is basic. Inside it feels much more upclass. As we came late all that was left was inside - which turned out to be just fine. The 3-course meal was delicious accompanied with the "wine street" and they did customize to our taste (in this case no fish and no mushrooms). We then had a very nice trio of tomato-mozzarella, veal and desert and quite a lot of drinks with it. I can definitely recommend. Prices are okay considering the quality of the food.

The 3-course menu was deliciously accompanied by the wine road and they have adapted our taste (in this case no fish and no mushrooms). We then had a very nice trio of tomato mozzarella, calf and desert and a lot of drinks with it. I can definitely recommend. Prices are all right when considering the quality of food.

Aufgrund des schicken Ambientes entschieden wir, in diesem Restaurant essen zu gehen. Die Bedienung war freundlich und alles schien auf einen kulinarisch feinen Abend hinzudeuten. Als das Fondue Chinoise auf den Tisch kam, fing die Ernüchterung an.... keine liebliche Aufmachung der Speise und Beilagen. Das servierte Fleisch (bis auf das Poulet) sah jedoch unter jeder Bewertung aus und war entsprechend so zum Essen....Bei seiner Tischrunde wurde dies dem Chef mitgeteilt. Er nahm dies gleichgültig auf und meinte lediglich, erwerde dies so weiterleiten....Mir ist es in der Zwischenzeit auch gleichgültig, mein Umfeld und ich werden sicher nie mehr dort essen! Bitte nicht klagen, wenn Ihr dann mal keine Gäste mehr habt, das liegt dann sicher nicht (allein) an Corona!!
