The service is the BEST I've had before COVID since. My waterglass was never empty (this is unheard), we had a nice plate with cookies and honey butter almost immediately. The waitress took our order and we were gone and ran. Steaks were perfectly cooked, tasted DELICIOUS and the honey bacon Brussels sprouts were amazing! Desserts... Come here, ready to eat
My first time there, with a group of friends. We sat in the bar area because it was quieter (they have booths there. I had my usual go to burger, the Black’nBlue (1/2 lb burger with blue cheese. Jackson added bacon, lettuce tomato and onion, plus fries. All excellent. The rest of our group ordered chicken, shrimp and other burgers everybody was happy. Oh and they have a very good beer selection. It was crowded in the main dining area, but we had no problem finding parking.
We split the smoked prime rib and a won ton chicken salad. The rib was an inch thick, smokey, cooked to perfection, and delicious. The salad and dressing were great. Best meal you'll have in Socorro, guaranteed.
I was captivated by both the wonderful smell of the Black Angus Steaks being cooked and the GORGEOUS genuine horse drawn carriages from the late 1800 's! This is a much needed addition to the Socorro restaurant list and definitely has staying quality. I can predict this restaurant will quickly fill the empty hole that hat left. The Jackson Ranch Steak House has an excellent Live Music Experience on special dates, with well known musicians at it 's forefront and a great atmosphere for a well worth it dining experience for both lunch and dinner!!!
We arrived right at closing time, asked if we could still be seated? They said by all means, service was fantastic our meals even more so. We were never rushed and were there for an hour past closing time. Can't say enough about the staff and food, a gem of New Mexico .
