Dickeys Bbq Of Amherst, Ny - Snyder

I'm a second chance kind of guy...not a third. Ordered slaw on my sandwich. No slaw. Ordered the Dr. Pepper sauce. No Dr. Pepper sauce. I ordered the chili brisket mac and cheese, only got the chili brisket. Not to mention the portions don't match the price. I would have given it one star but my sandwich was alright...even without the slaw and sauce. I recommend ordering from Dinosaur BBQ if you can ?‍

So to start I wasn't asked if I wanted to dine in, which if lobby is open during covid someone would be happy to be invited to sit. The person taking my order literally did not listen and they almost messed up my order. The girl behind the register was standing there ringing me up drinking her drink no masks worn by any staff. When my order was ready they just sat it on the counter didn't even tell me my order was ready and Everytime I pointed out these mistakes the girl behind the register laughed I've been to several dickeys, by far the worst and I probably won't go to another. Sad excuse for food service.

The food is good but comes up short in quantity. Customer in line said it best thirteen dollars for a lunch special? drink We like the briskets but the sides are just ok. We were wowed with our first visit to one In Pennsylvania . This one left us wondering if it was the same chain Alas, our son likes it so we will return otherwise, once is enough

Maybe it's cuz I just had amazing bbq at TSG in Elma the week before so I was unfairly comparing it but Dickey's to me was just passable bbq, decent but not great. The workers were very nice when I picked up my order. Everything was present and packed well. One big gripe was the portion sizes were pretty tiny. I got a 3 meat, 2 sides plate thinking it would be enough for me and my husband to split for a light lunch like we've done at other bbq places and it was pretty light. Everything tasted fine, the pulled pork, the mac and cheese, the corn muffin, the baked potato casserole were all okay but not great.The creamed spinach was pretty salty. Our favorite thing was the chopped brisket and the jalapeno cheddar sausage so if I came back I would get one of those.

We only want it one plate with two meats and two sides they up sold us with two plates one meat each $33 when I walked out very uncourteous service and the food wasn't great at all the brisket was tough and dried out
