Willy's Mexicana Grill - Smyrna

My family used to visit this restaurant frequently, but it's really gone downhill lately. During our last few visits, we promised ourselves we wouldn’t return, and this time, I mean it. I hope management takes note of this because many other families feel the same way. The staff, who appear quite unhappy, don’t greet customers with smiles or even a simple hello. They rush around as if there's no one waiting in line, resulting in long wait times—20 minutes to get meals for our family of four, even when the place is empty. The food also seems stale; they scrape the last bits of unappetizing food from the bins, and it never tastes fresh like it used to. From now on, we’ll be supporting the local Taco T's down the street, which offers much better quality. I hope you can turn things around before it’s too late!

I visited this restaurant for the first time and was thoroughly impressed. The staff were friendly and efficient, and despite the place being busy, it was clean. Kudos to Wes and his entire team—I will definitely be returning!

Willy's used to be my favorite spot for burritos, but my recent visit to the Smyrna location was quite disappointing. The place was pretty dirty—there was food on the floor and near the sauce area, and overall, it didn't feel clean. I even had to wipe down the stand and table myself. To make matters worse, my burrito fell apart after just two bites. I've had similar experiences at the Sandy Springs and Perimeter locations as well. It seems like the different locations in Atlanta have not maintained the high standards of the Hapeville site that I used to frequent. I truly hope that Willy, the founder, can take steps to clean up these restaurants because the burritos I remember were really delicious. Unfortunately, these satellite locations just aren't measuring up to the original quality. I once even chatted with Clark Howard at the Hapeville site about how great the burritos are. I know the potential is there—I’ve tasted it before when the place was clean! I believe they can get back to that standard.

Clean, bright inside. Very pleasant atmosphere. Friendly staff. Fresh food cafeteria style. Many options. Chips and salsa bar. Fresh lemonade available, tea or soda. We had the Baja chicken Burrito. Delicious Definitive will return.

I came in and order a chicken burrito and it was really good. Bryan made my meal and was very friendly, Wes checked me out and made sure I was good before I left. Will definitely be coming here again.
