Authentic ofada and ayemese. The afang needs improvement. Good portions.
Ordered Suya and it was soo good. The suya was also ready by the time I arrived to pick it up and I didn’t have to wait at all. The service was good and did I already mention how good the suya was?!!! It was a pleasant surprise.
I want to leave an honest review. I visited this place for the first time yesterday. The jollof rice and plantains were AMAZING however the chicken didn't taste seasoned. It did pair well with the rest of the dish but was bland by itself. The dish seemed fresh and came out hot. I liked that. The young cashier was extremely nice, attentive and professional. I understand renovations are taking place however it seemed too dim for it to be 3 PM. I also noticed rice on the floor and things that should've been swept up.: This place is very affordable and they serve nice size portions. It was cheaper ordering in the store than online. I liked how affordable this restaurant is.
Came on a Thursday night, the place looks neat and amazing. The service was also great. However, the food was terrible. I ordered Egusi soup and it was the worst I’ve ever tasted. It is not seasoned, texture was off and tasted bitter.I had other Egusi before but this one disappointed me. My main spot for Egusi soup is Ayo African Cuisine on Austell Road and I only went here because they were closed. I’ll just stick to my original location.
