White Swan -b-que Chicken - Smithfield

So happy we decided to stop and try this charming family restaurant. I ordered the grill chicken with roasted greens and cooked potatoes and enjoyed every bite. The lush puppies that come with the meal are also delicious! The grill sauce is brownish and slightly sweet with a touch of heat. The iced tea is freshly brewed and goes perfectly with the aromas. My family also loved Thier Food. Everyone carved around the Mac and the cheese and the Cole. I am so happy that I found this little jewel with homemade tasting food and friendly service. Can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

Heard about this place through the grapevine. I'm sure glad we did! It's been around for 90+ years and was full of local regulars. The food was AWESOME. Some of the best BBQ since we moved here. Service was great, atmosphere was great, although it isn't a fancy place. Seating is limited and prices are good. I did not leave hungry... We will become regulars here. It is worth the drive from wherever you are. Watch the hours. It's closed on Sunday.

Hole in the wall with delicious fried chicken and amazing hush puppies! This is not for someone trying to eat healthy. Chicken was juicy and crisp. The BBQ pork was tasty. Their sides were decent, but not as good as the meat. Great value and there is a discount for cash. We left stuffed from lunch. Service was fast and it?s in a convenient location from the highway. Definitely recommend.

Friendly and personable staff!! Wonderful food!! Right sized portions and right sized prices! Will return when I am back in the area. Took some of the Brunswick stew to go!
