The food was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. I will definitely return!

We made a reservation, which was fine, but our table was placed too close to the bar area to feel Covid-safe. By 2:30 PM, most of the menu items were sold out, including all chicken, fish and chips, steak and ale pie, and steaks, among others. Despite this, they were still accepting bookings for that evening. My partner ended up with a SMALL children's portion that included just a few chips and carrots (the peas were also unavailable). The sticky toffee pudding was good and generously portioned, but it felt like it came too late! I can’t help but wonder why the staff didn’t go out to buy more food to prepare?

We visited in the early afternoon and found the pub to be warm and welcoming. The staff were attentive and truly dedicated to their work. The drinks were enjoyable, and the food was of excellent quality. We will definitely be back. Keep up the great work!

The landlady was brilliant! Service was top notch! Nice quirky little pub!
