フィードバックを提供するOur reservation ran late and there was mixup on out table as we were to be seated. We were not upset with the delay, but both the hostess and our server (Ashley) were apologized to profusely both before and after we were seated. We sat outside next to the pond, a lovely place to be. Our server was very helpful with our food selection. My wife had the scallops which she enjoyed. I seldom order beef out, and the filet mignon I ordered did not disappoint. We were generously comped for our delayed seating which we never expected. Definitely would go back.
My wife and I had a delightful dinner this evening here at Mirbeau. We were greeted by Sarah, a wonderful hostess that seated us in a quite area of the dining room. Our waiter George was very polite and attended to our needs in a very professional manner. The food was fabulous. The atmosphere was charming. After supper Sarah showed us all around and made us feel right at home. Needless to say we will definitely return again and again. So if you are in Skaneateles and have a few extra bucks in your pocket we’ll more then a few extra bucks) you have to try it. Splurge and enjoy!!
I cannot stress enough how wonderful the staff was during all dining experiences at The Bistro Wine and Bar.The let down was the food. From overcooked fish, a burnt omelette, and a sloppy burger. Another let down was the cheese board accompanied by a runny berry compote and cheeses that seemed to be sitting out in the kitchen too long.On top of this the sommelier spoke to me as if I didn't know the varietals in a Coté Du Rhône, when I just wanted a more detailed breakdown. It seemed as if he has removed himself from his portfolio. If you want to dine somewhere with amazing service, this is the place to be. I will say one busser forgot his tongs for the bread we thought we'd take home, until he grabbed them with his hands in front of us to put them in the box. If you decide to go, just get the creme brulee.Dietary restrictions: Mindful of dietary concerns
We went to the restaurant on Mother’s Day and it was a horrible experience. We had 9:30am reservations and waited more than an hour to receive our food. When the food did come it was diner quality at best. Lastly, the service was what I would expect if I was eating at Applebees, not a higher end restaurant. Save your money and go to the Sherwood Inn or Krebs.
The service was impeccable! The food was delicious!! We sat out on the deck and tho we enjoyed the view and it was nicely heated from above, the sun blinded one of our guests for a while. But we thoroughly enjoyed the experience and look forward to going again. The servings were ample and after the main courses we each ordered different desserts to share. Each was very yummy. The grounds have beautifully maintained gardens and everything is immaculate. All in all, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend it.Parking: Parking is right out front making entering the building very convenient.
