Very tasty food with an emphasis on Cretan dishes (and beers! at absolutely fair prices. The owner, Niko, is very friendly with a good sense of humor. We liked the place and the beach run by him so much, we came back a second day from our vacation place an hour away. I don't agree with the people complaining about slow service didn't make this experience and maybe a matter of wrong expectations: it's just not a fast food place, but the best kind of laid back tavern at the beach. Kid friendliness: Baby chairs available and the owner is very child friendly, joking around with our daughter and even offered some toys for her to take to the beach.
