Sams Gyros - Sioux City

The gyros at this Mediterranean restaurant are truly outstanding. Packed with authentic flavors and crafted with great care, they offer a delightful experience for the palate. I went here for lunch during work because unfortunately I was in the mall but I was very pleasantly surprised. I got the chicken gyro and it was loaded with meat and the fries were freshly fried. It was so good. My only complaint is I came back to eat it again and they were closed.

The food is okay, but the prices are outrageous. I spent $13 and still left feeling unsatisfied.

This was another new experience for me, and I really enjoyed my meal here. The food was a bit messy, making it somewhat challenging to eat, but it was absolutely delicious. The free refills and friendly service were fantastic. I would definitely return with friends whenever I'm at the Southern Hills Mall food court. The fries were unique, but they brought back memories of my childhood with their seasoning and tasty dipping sauces. There was a great variety of options, all at reasonable prices.

We purchased a Philly Cheesesteak and Gyro today to split. Neither were any good. There was little flavor to the meat at all even after trying to add a little salt. It did nothing. My boyfriend did eat half of the Philly but after a few bites I had to ask for a refund. I can't see spending close to $30 for food that we didn't like. I requested a refund on the gyro and was told they have to call the corporate office. They will get back to me today, tomorrow, or sometime next week. So basically never. If you have ever had a real Gyro and you know what a real gyro tastes like, you will be disappointed. Save yourself the headache. Not to mention rude service.
