This is a fantastic spot for brunch! It's wise to make a reservation before you go. While the prices are slightly on the higher side for a cafe, the portion sizes are generous and great for sharing, especially if you're not a big eater. I ordered the chicken schnitzel sandwich ($22) and it was outstanding! You also have to try their sticky date pudding ($10)—it's perfectly balanced and not overly sweet. I shared it with two friends, and it was just the right amount.

This local eclectic café serves home-style food that makes every visit a delight. I stopped by after a long workweek, just before the dinner rush, and treated myself to a coffee and a slice of apple cake to unwind. With the pre-dinner crowd being minimal, the service was prompt, and I was quickly served a well-crafted coffee alongside a sizable slice of delightful cookie. The homemade quality of the food was immediately apparent; the cookie's flavor reminded me of Italian biscotti, while its thinness brought back memories of the almond-flavored waffle cookies my great aunt used to make and keep in tall coffee tins whenever we visited. Muffins were on special, but when I asked the friendly staff for a recommendation, they suggested the apple cake slice. It was a smooth vanilla yellow cake topped with a generous layer of baked apples and infused with a rich cinnamon aroma. The slice appeared quite large on the plate, yet I found myself finishing it off before I even realized! This is definitely a spot worth returning to for homemade comfort food.

I was able to find parking easily and got a table right away, which was impressive for a Saturday afternoon. It’s a really nice place with excellent service and tasty food. I highly recommend trying the Pavlova with Fruit Salad!

I visited this restaurant for a late lunch and had a wonderful chicken schnitzel sandwich that was quite hearty. My boyfriend really enjoyed his baked eggs as well. The portion sizes were good, too. However, when we arrived on time, our table wasn't ready. The waitress accommodated us by seating us at a larger table to wait, which was nice, considering it was a very hot day. Excellent service with a touch of Australian humor and charm from Chef Darren! The rest of the staff, especially one woman, provided great service as well. I really enjoyed the pumpkin salad and cheeseburger—both were delicious! The sticky date pudding was tasty, though a bit on the sweet side for my liking. I’ll definitely be back!
