This time, we also got to try the “Happy Bear” drinks for the very first time! We had asked for them at both this location and the Tampines branch before, but we were always told they were out of stock. On this occasion, when we inquired, they again informed us that the drink was unavailable. Disappointed, we mentioned how often we'd been told it was out of stock. However, the manager came over and offered to see if she could get a few glasses for us. To our delight, she returned with four glasses! If you’re not already aware, Hai Di Lao is on the pricier side. You’re paying for their excellent service and delicious food. It's not a place you would go to regularly if you’re on a tight budget, but it’s definitely worth visiting for special occasions.
The tomato soup base is flavorful and enjoyable. The mushroom soup base, on the other hand, is light and rather mild. The fish ball with fish roe is quite delightful; the mushroom pork ball is tender; and the shiitake mushrooms have a rich, earthy flavor. The Haidilao marinated beef has a unique taste with a hint of spiciness. The fried beancurd is consistently good, perfect for soaking up the soup. The pork is sliced thinly, making it easy to cook, and the prawn cake is different from the usual, featuring a crusty, prata-like exterior.
It was amazing. Treated so well with little ones. Went here twice on our visit to Singapore. Food and service is something that is top notch here
A was a very great experience dining in at bedok branch. It was even better when more dining pax is allowed, so you can order more options and share. HDL service is always been good, you can take away snacks, and many more other requests. It have never fail, but of course the price won't be cheap but then it worth it. Thank you.
