Marreiros - Silves

Been to this place about 5 times now and it's the same every time, they don't speak English but we muddle through and the staff are very friendly. The food as always was excellent and there is plenty of it, it's off the beaten track but well worth the trip and the bill is always cheap.

We got this restaurant as advice from a local friend. The restaurant creates very good local food. From what I understand he has 60 hunting dogs. The food we had was grill black pork. Really tasteful. Also the lamp-chop and the beef where great. There are almost no tourist that makes it really nice visit. One big family was singing fado for hours. Loud and beautiful. Just visit this and surprise yourselves.

I had Sunday lunch here with some friends a few days ago. Despite the horrendous weather, the restaurant was full of local people, which is usually a good sign. The restaurant is not plush and could be a little cosier, but we were there to eat and socialise. The food was unbelievably good. My wild boar stew was 5*, I have never had better. My wife had the Bacalhau and she commented on how tasty it was. The house wines were excellent and the service was very friendly. Worthy of a visit but a little off the beaten track, don't be deterred by this TRY I T.

Encontramos este restaurante de pasada y fie una buena opcion para almorzar, sin embargo no me gusto el hecho de que cobren todo por aparte, nosotros pedimos secretos de porco preto y la señora nos trajo los secretos mas una ensalada y unas papas fritas, pensabamos que como en todo restaurante esto haria parte del plato y no fue asi, cuando pedimos la cuenta todo estaba cobrado por separado, lo que me molesto porque no fuimos avisados antes de hacer el pedido ni nos dieron una carta

Superbe restaurant , la cuisine est excellente tout est fait maison. Vrai restaurant typique portugais. Il vaut le détour de plusieurs kilomètres , tarif très bon marché Sert a mangé même très tard Superbe dessert de la maison
