Eating was extremely (extremely) oversalted. it had more salt than it was even edible. this is strange because it was spiced with each other at the same time. I love the idea of a more expressive Ethiopian restaurant, and people seemed really nice, but it was just not good to eat.
What could be better and easier than ordering in an a la carte fashion for what is so often vegan? Yes. this place is a modern, clean, open space that took the best parts of the Ethiopian food and made it very accessible to those who find Ethiopian food novel, heavy or other somewhat uninspiring type of food. try this place and they change their minds. as veg*n they have so many possibilities here. most vegetarian items are vegan (approx. 70, but please make sure to ask. the cauliflower is not, the yogurt sauce is not, and the cold dishes with cheese are clearly not vegan. but otherwise you're pretty good to go! the vegetarian protein selection is vegan grilled tofu and amply on their teller for a fast food experience they will appreciate. oh, but first, remember to decide: pita brot, spaghetti, salat green, rice, injera or gluten-free injera as their basic. they are vegan. the sauces that are vegan are mild, hot and the chef cook kocha (jalapeño.) the hot sides are all vegan a yellow split hem, a red berbere lenses and a crowned green (best the cold sides also have several vegan items, such as roasted mais, tomato and gurkensalat, and azifa. if they order, choose 4 pages. put everything together for what now costs $8.05 sweet. almost Ethiopian food in an open kitchen prepared and mounted. yum. I just wish all Veg sites were vegan. many sitings with employees are helpful in the solution of asking that they have and keep their food fast (check their number on the input.)
The food at this restaurant was amazing! As a vegan, I always appreciate Ethiopian restaurants for their variety of options. I found the takeout concept to be unique and convenient. Despite living in NC, I will definitely make it a point to visit again during my next trip.
The food at this restaurant was extremely salty, to the point where it was almost inedible. It was oddly salty despite being seasoned with other spices. Although I appreciated the concept of a more authentic Ethiopian restaurant and the friendly staff, the overall quality of the food was disappointing.
