Nino's Pastaria - Signal Mountain

Good Italian restaurant on top of Signal Mountain. Food is nearly always very good. They have moved away from table service and now you order at the back, find a table and they bring your food. I'm not a big fan of this way of serving though as the table service is lost. They do bring out water and bread with the food but that's all the service you'll get.

Once upon a time, I would have given 5 stars. The food is still very good, but the atmosphere and noise level doesn't justify the relatively high cost of the meal. You aren't served table side, but have to go to the counter and order and pre-pay like a fast food joint. If you want another glass of wine, you have to go back to the counter, order, and pay. We used to eat there a couple of times per month. Now they're really only good for takeout.

Really excellent fresh Italian cuisine. Use the lift signal mountain on a nebulous day.

The best restaurant in Signal Mountain? I've been here for years and never had a bad meal. Light staff, fresh (and local) ingredients, and they really know how to cook Italian cuisine! I came less than a week after two weeks in Italy and *still* had a wonderful meal. The addition of a plant-based menu is simply fantastic. Really helpful to eat something for the whole family.
