Rossmoor Pastries/matt&nat Bakery

I just drove in from Las Vegas for an interview at Optum down the street, and my nerves gave me a serious sweet tooth craving! I asked Siri for nearby cupcake shops, and Rosmoor Bakery came up. I tried the mini carrot cake, the strawberry sprinkled cupcake, and the Red Velvet, and they were all absolutely delicious in their own unique ways! My interview is at 2 PM, and they close at 4 PM. If I don’t get the job, I’ll definitely stop by to take a cake back to Vegas. And even if I do get the job, I’ll still be coming back as a loyal customer for life!

I also tried a coconut cookie that was half-dipped in chocolate. I’m not sure what it’s called, but it was divine; the dark chocolate, which I typically don't prefer, was the perfect complement. The snickerdoodle was good too, but those were the only cookies I truly loved. While I didn't hate any of the others, some were a bit dry and lacked flavor. The carrot cake cupcakes and strawberry treats were delicious. The banana muffin had the perfect texture and wasn’t too sweet. Everything was beautifully presented, and I was seriously impressed. I even went back the next day for another cinnamon roll all to myself!

Eight years later, people are still raving about this wedding cake! We couldn't have asked for a better venue to celebrate our wedding day. The service exceeded our expectations, and the staff were incredibly thoughtful, making sure that every detail of our day was special.

First time trying this place, was looking for a near by place to get a few cupcakes for my sons 6th birthday. And I always wanted to try it. But $26.50 for reg size, I would've just went to a market to get them. Super superDRY my 6 year old son said it was terrible..it was all thrown away.

Ordered for a tea party. All the pastries were delicious. The fruit tarts were amazing ! We also got pumpkin squares and cream puffs, along with lemon tarts. All very good.
