The food was delicious. Service was on point. Best meal in town in a long time.

The staff is consistently friendly, and the waitresses are exceptionally attentive. The food always arrives quickly, and the salads are fresh and generously portioned. Overall, it's a great place to dine. The only downside is the decor, which feels outdated and gives the impression of being stuck in a different era.

The restaurant itself has a charming ambiance reminiscent of a rustic salon or eatery from the 1960s and 70s, with dark wood accents, burgundy carpeting, and a well-stocked salad bar. Coming from a family in the Greek restaurant business, I have a deep appreciation for good food and unique dining experiences, and South 40 is truly a gem. If you find yourself near Sidney, you definitely need to stop by. I visited on a Sunday evening around 6:30, and it was a great time to come—busy enough to have a good atmosphere, but not overcrowded. My waitress, Carmen, was fantastic. This is a must-visit place!

I have only been to this restaurant once in the past two years. The servers were not very polite, and I would have appreciated cleaner cups and utensils. Unfortunately, I will have to skip this place in the future.
