Applebee's Grill + Bar - Sidney

We decided to eat at applebee last night. I had the chicken broccoli alfredo and it was fabulous. I eat the rest of the day.

Our waiter greta was really cool. she was really friendly and helped us get our entrées. the main part of the restaurant is open with high ceilings.

I am a overdriver and have expected bad service and bad eating at truck stops, so if the chance came to go to applebee’s in sidney ne.

First time had a bad experience at this location. Live in the area so have eaten here multiple times. Many things didn’t measure up with the meal. My steak was red instead of pink, the garlic type sauce on the top of the shrimp had way too much pepper and the blue mama drink was like drinking syrup. The only reason I’m even giving three stars is the waitress. She was a real sweetie and was very kind. I didn’t return my food to the kitchen at all but was really disappointed. Maybe new cook and bartender? Will try again another time.

The bartender, Daniel, was great. He could use help but does his best The manager on duty was letting people wait for tables with no interaction. She even knows me and walked by me several times without acknowledging me.
