Boondocks Cafe - Sidney

My 80-year-old aunt and uncle here for birthday. They ordered the beef Wellington and it was terrible that the Puff bakery was burned. My mother ordered the chicken pancake and it was terrible, it was too thick and lumpy as paste... with very small chicken in it. I had the steak that I had sent back twice because it was boiled (ordered it medium). The steak came with Gnocchi and I got about three pieces it was 90 percent onions. It was an absolute disaster and the bill was still $100.00. The atmosphere was beautiful and great view I would try again for drinks MAYBE wings and nachos, but not dinner.

Some city guests spoke to DINNER and a show. Booked with the restaurant before the time and prepaid the cover fee. And told the restaurant that we were going to dinner. On both occasions I spoke to them. At the time to find that the place was packed, our name was diceed on the list, but no table was assigned so that they threw a wobbly card table on the dance floor and informed us the only food they would serve were Natchos and potato skins until after 20:30. The hostess was completely unapologetic. The waitresses were very nice, but complete. I was totally embarrassed that I brought hungry guests here. You need to sort out their bookings and not make the guests responsible for the problem would you go back there?

I have the nachos. They were very generic. I have the encore on guacamole for $6. It was worth a tiny plastic container that also had beans in it for filler! Absolutely ridiculous. Will never return. Mediocre Service.

It was a bite before it went to the airport. Vaper is checked at the door. Really appreciate that they sat me at a table near a plug so I could charge my phone so I could use my cards because I didn't come from the area. 2 dollars outside the appetizers during the special times that I happened to be able to use. Had the shrimps with lateral toast. It was perfectly cooked. I noticed that the waitress seemed to escape from her feet. She could use another waitress to help, as it took over 10 minutes to revise my bill, which I finally had to go up and ask her again when she served other table drinks. All in all, it seemed like a lively popular place. Free 2 hours parking on the street as well as parking.

We had a take-out this evening. My wife 's chicken burger was fine but I don 't know how many times her chips had been re-fried, limp and soggy. If liver and onions are on the menu I often order it. This time is was a sad...mistake. The chips were just as bad but the liver was awful. like a fried shoe-inner-sole. It didn 't even taste like liver and had we eaten inside it would certainly been sent back to the kitchen.
