Don’t judge a book by its cover.... as with so many eateries in Italy, the interior is more appealing than the exterior but once inside you will experience the most authentic taste of southern Italian cuisine and hospitality. With house wines at €2.50 per 0.5l carafe plus more adventurous Calabrese tipples on offer, your desire for a taste of the local contraband will be satisfied without breaking the bank. The portions given here are generous and you may struggle to fit in a primo and a secondo but I was tempted to order both on every visit (I came here four times! There is a wood fired pizza oven and the chefs make pizza from scratch in front of your eyes. The predominantly pasta primi piatti are sublime, often seafood based. Meat and fish secondi are offered... swordfish, prawns, tuna, cuttlefish, mussels... steaks including the famous T-bone Fiorentina are served. Pizzas from as little as €4. Simple desserts include gelato with a chocolate filling (tartufo and tiramisu. You really couldn’t get better value for money and if you want to experience genuine local food in a place almost exclusively frequented by locals, this is it!

Easily located outside Siderno on the main highway. Can be busy so be prepared to wait during peak season. Pizza is hot, fresh and tasty.

Simple and nice place to eat. Menu just in Italian, but they found somebody who could help to understand. Food was great! Seafood pasta and pizza just perfect! As well as local wine. Though staff could be a bit more friendly.
