El Tio Nachos - Sibley

Always excellent food, sad that it's about to close but curious on what's going to open up in it's spot.

Best in North west iowa there retiring hopefully they can train the new owners in the way food is good.

El Tio Nachos will be changing management soon, so this review might need an update later. As of now, the tacos are fantastic, and the rice is always flavorful. There’s something about simple Mexican cuisine that really satisfies, and El Tio Nachos delivers on that. I’ve ordered from there over ten times, and it has always been delicious. My fiancée frequently orders without me and has never had any complaints. The food is consistently great.

It appears to be the only sit-down restaurant open on a Saturday night. I ordered the Enchilada Verdes, and it was surprisingly good for Sibley. I would definitely come back again.

This restaurant offers the most rustic and authentic Mexican cuisine you can find. The interior boasts a beautiful patina and was once a schoolhouse from 1900 to 1929. The service is excellent, and the food is fantastic. There are also plenty of great options for picky children, thanks to the diverse menu choices available.
