Red Rose Oswestry - Shropshire

Having driven for several hours and checked in to our hotel, we dashed out expecting not to find anything, but spotted the lights on here so popped in after 10pm hoping that they would let us eat in. Thankfully it was a yes. The maitre d' couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent, and was washed down with a good bottle or two of South African Sauvignon Blanc. Would thoroughly recommend this restaurant. Thank you to all the staff for a wonderful meal.

I've traveled the country with work this is possibly the best Indian meal I've ever had everything to a high standard owner is a star can't do enough to help

Total waste of money and taste buds, The guy at the reception don't know how to deal with customers, he's got a very rude attitude and I guess he owns the restaurant the way he shows his behaviour, totally tasteless food, very poor customer services. A RIPOFF

Literally tastless like a tray of onions with a tin of tomatoes barely any spices or flavour whatsoever, chips not eatable as not even half cooked let alone cooked, veg samosas had meat in them but mrs don't eat lamb, 2nd time they've done that despite asking this time, poppadoms floppy and chewy and cost £25 for basically a tray of rice as this was only decent thing. Oh onion bhaji's were very nice greasy but tasty. We started using another Indian after the last time but hoped it was a one off, sadly it wasn't as this time was the same if not worse. I did tell them last time is was **** compared to usual but clearly it made no difference. Gobowen is alot nicer more flavour. Chirk Castle Tandoori also tasty but smaller portions. Sadly I will never order again from here as its £75 for last 3 orders that were all really plain and lacking anything worthy of another order.

Terrible service and average food. Kept waiting for over an hour between starters and mains and despite that, when the food arrived it wasn’t hot. Avoid this place.
