Fairfield Market Cafe - Shreveport

My experience was on an off night, which was admitted by some regulars and staff. I do plan to return as I know this has 5 star potential with a fun, festive and authentic vibe. They were out of so many things I opted for the filet medium rare which came out well done. I love the transparency they had of being understaffed and understocked.

The fries with my Ruben Sandwich were good, but the sandwich it self was tough as if the meat wasn't sliced correctly. My beer was good.

We enjoyed the patio dining. Our service was wonderful. (Quick and attentive) Thank you Patti! Lunch was fresh and delicious. The cucumber sandwich was on point. On our second day we tried the smoked salmon. YUM! And the batter on the pepper rings was fantastic!! Thanks for everything!!

Wonderfully cozy little restaurant; kind of hidden away. Great food, great atmosphere and great options for shopping (got some frozen soups to try at home) I would definitely recommend!

It's a cool little niche place and is exactly what you'd expect..it's shreveport, not dallas
