Cush's Grocer Market - Shreveport

The chicken salad and tomato basil soup were incredible! I even drove from Austin with a cooler just to bring some back home! I've tried chicken salad all over the South, and nothing compares to Cush's! It's a wonderful family-owned local business. I was so surprised that the owners remembered me and my favorite dishes after being away in Austin for eight years! It’s always a must-stop whenever I'm in Shreveport!

Paul's shrimp salad served in two avocado halves was absolutely delicious! The flavor was so incredible that I couldn't stop thinking about it afterward.

I really enjoyed the chicken avocado salad—it was excellent! Dining there was a delightful experience. I also appreciated the small touches, like the sunflowers on the table. I loved not just the food but also their sense of interior design. I would definitely return when we're back in the city.

Cush's consistently serves delicious food. Their menu offers a wide variety of options, and the staff is friendly and efficient. It's a fantastic place to dine. Cush's remains as excellent as ever and is always bustling with customers. We enjoyed lunch there today, and it was delightful as usual. We ordered the Caesar salad topped with tenderloin, along with fresh garlic bread. My husband also had a cup of gumbo. I highly recommend everything!
