Shay's - Shoreline

This place is awesome. The first thing you notice is how clean it is. Even all the little Knick knacks were clean, meaning someone takes the time to dust them. Great laid back atmosphere with humor. For instance, one sign says, ?beware?old mencooking!? Then our food came and it got even better! Their omelette are four eggs, and I got the meat lovers. Came with hashbrowns and toast. The meal was delicious, as was the coffee. But what really made it was the person who helped us. I may bewrong, but I also got the feeling she and her husband might own it, but she was really nice and super efficient.

Probably the best place for breakfast in this area of Seattle/Shoreline. Service was quick and friendly, food was excellent and plentiful. Basically an old fashioned diner experience and that in these days of chain restaurants is not a bad thing at all.

Prime Rib on Friday. It was about $30. It's a middle nativity. So juicy and quite as soft as meat can get without marble wagyu. Each bite was a burst of taste and so delicate and juicy. It was madness. Just like that. It was a lot of food, but we both could eat half. We took them home, and we made the next day fortunes from them. We'll be back on Friday. If I have to be honest, the veggies were a little muddy and in butter. Delicious, hey, butter is good, but I have to wonder if the veggies were forgotten because I didn't have to chew them at all. Maybe it's a function, not a mistake. Still, really fucking good, big fan of Shay's!

AWESOME! Highly recommend! Not only are they supper nice but cam out within a half our and re-keyed both front and back door for our business at 4:30pm! You just don't get that kind of customer service anymore! Thanks so much!

Wonderful. Perfect. This was exactly what we wanted. They have perfected the greasy spoon breakfast and I will absolutely be back for more. The waitress, Linda, was perfectly feisty and fun! There was counter service too. The eggs were exactly as we asked them to be and the hashbrowns were divine. Can’t wait for my next **** Mary! There’s also a really cute free book exchange inside and the book selection is on point!
