I ordered the crab tagliatelle, lo and behold I hear the chef SNEEZE and BLOW HIS NOSE and I look into the kitchen to see him with a tissue cleaning out his nose. I did NOT see him wash his hands and he proceeded to finish making my plate : . I confronted him on this by asking, “hey I saw you do this, please tell me you cleaned your hands.” They assured me they used alcohol disinfectant and wipes his hands washing still important dude!! then afterward, a younger female cook also sneezed, but then I heard the two of them giggling and she faked an extra “coughing” sound to make little of my complaint. I already feel a scratching in my throat and want to throw up knowing I ate that : . All foreigners stay away from this place.
Good Italian with friendly atmosphere. The staff will make your visit memorable. Simple interior with flexible seating so they can rearrange based on the size of your party. Great wine selection
Excellent Italian restaurant in the Hiro o area. The grand menu has so many options but the owners will also suggest daily specials. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I ate the veal saltimbocca in its entirety (soooo delicious) and the Pistachio dessert was a maz ing. Service was excellent. Nice wine menu. I thought prices were reasonable (3000¥ a (main) plate give or take a few). Cute space. We’ll be back!
I had my wife's surprise birthday party here last night and it was an absolute blast. Attractive and modern decor, with an open kitchen and bar that stretches the length of the restaurant, and of course the warm and welcoming presence of Luca, owner and manager all come together to make this a great choice for a party or an intimate romantic dinner. For this occasion Luca worked with me over 4 weeks to put together a mouthwatering menu of food and drink that more than satisfied our group of 20, and at a very reasonable price for the quality and service. Our grand menu consisted of: Caprese, Calamari Fritti, Mixed Salad, the most popular Pappardelle with Crab Meat and Tomato Cream Sauce, their famous Risotto alla Parmigiana, Grilled Seafood Platter with sides of Spinach and Roasted Potatoes, and a dessert platter of Tiramisu, Vanilla Meringue Cake, and Pistachio Mille Feuille. With lots of wine, San Pellegrino, coffee and tea, and Luca's incredible Limoncello digestivo, it all came in under 10,000 yen per person amazing! Thank you so much to Luca and his expert staff for helping put together an unforgettable party and culinary experience for my one and only!
