Life Italian - Sherwood Park

I just returned from a delightful meal at an Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the music was soft and pleasing. It's a perfect place for conversation and enjoyment. I highly recommend it!

I visited this restaurant for a date with my husband, and the interior is absolutely stunning! However, the food and service did not meet expectations. My gnocchi was served with an overwhelming amount of raw garlic in the sauce, and the pizza was laden with so much cheese that it was difficult to taste anything else. On the positive side, the pizza crust was good. Unfortunately, the dessert was dry and excessively sweet. When I raised my concerns about the food, the response from the staff was unsatisfactory; she simply apologized for my disappointment and noted that I would have enjoyed the dishes otherwise. I had ordered some of my favorite Italian dishes, but neither really hit the mark.

I was extremely disappointed with the quality control on my delivery order. The lasagna was excessively smothered in sauce and overcooked. The garlic toast was also heavily burnt.

Stopped in for a light meal. Service was ok. The waitress was disappointed I was only having a salad, and she made me uncomfortable. I won't go back here.

This was my second dining experience at the restaurant. My first visit was with a group of friends, and we ended up staying much longer than the typical dinner. The food was outstanding, the service was friendly, and it was a great value, so I recommended it for another outing with different friends. During this visit, we also lingered for quite a while, enjoying the privacy it offered, allowing us to chat and catch up without feeling rushed. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return.
