フィードバックを提供するThis restaurant used to be our favorite place to dine! Unfortunately, due to cold food and limited rolls (if any are available), it has now become our least favorite. We can easily go across the street and get a steak, two sides, and all the hot rolls we can eat, plus drinks, for less than what we pay here. Goodbye!
On July 26, 2020, at 5:30 PM, I experienced the worst service imaginable. The leftover food was served cold, and the management seemed unconcerned about the situation.
Salad bar was messy and out of a lot of the sides. Also the lettuce was not very fresh. Passed on it but the roast, cabbage, Irish potatoes, Mac Cheese and fried chicken were great. Wife had some enchiladas and some sides. Then tried the meatloaf which was pretty much a smashed meatball. The on to the desert. Very sloppy but the apple cobbler was good and the lemon pie was good. Pecan was dried out and the carrot cake was yuck. Also there was many empty dishes so assumed there must have been something delicious there since it was all gone. They also had chicken fried steak, baked chicken and they even offered some steak. I believe that steak was additional cost. Table was clean and service was great at the front and the waiter. I would go back but probably a little earlier. FYI the yeast rolls were !
We go here quite often, but our last visit was negative. First off, there was zero ranch dressing and no plans of getting more until the next day when truck comes in. This was at the start of dinner. Two others asked about thousand island and same reply. So charge 13.99 a person, then don 't put out any ranch (that 's the go to dressing! or fresh pizza. AND this visit, I was charged a 20% gratuity. I normally don 't tip here because it 's a buffet. I serve myself. Your servers only refill my enormous cup that doesn 't need refilled and clears plates. That 's a busser. Also, the dessert serve ware needs replaced during the day, as it gets gunky and y 'all put out a fresh pie or cake and just leave the same serving utensils. Update: so we 're here today and as usual, our plates are not being cleared until we leave. And like I said, the big gulp sized cups do not need refilled. Y 'all just need to put a sign at the register that says if patrons do not leave a minimum 20%tip, that their cards will be charged accordingly. These aren 't waiters and waitresses. Patrons serve themselves. Update 7/20/22: so today the 20%was added at the register, but not showing on my receipt. I get an email as soon as my card is ran, so I saw this while eating. Our server was a very upbeat girl, but I didn 't leave a table tip, as gc already added it. Hopefully, your staff is aware that they ARE being tipped.
Went to this Golden Corral on 10-01-2022. Look at the pictures. The food is was alright. The desert was TRASH. The cleanliness of this restaurant is HORRIBLE. The bathroom is DISGUSTING. God FORBID!!!!!!!!!
