Sushi Plus Bbq Teriyaki - Sherman Oaks

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and found it somewhat disappointing. While the prices and portion sizes were impressive, the quality of the food fell short. The sushi rolls were excessively large, with an overwhelming amount of rice, and the proteins in the bento were overcooked. I also had concerns about the raw fish served here, as the staff appeared inexperienced in food preparation. Although everything was clean and well-presented, I can't recommend this restaurant for those seeking high-quality sushi. It could be a decent choice for anyone on a budget who wants a substantial meal, but if you’re after top-notch sushi, I suggest looking elsewhere.

I've never encountered a restaurant so demanding about using their bathroom. My husband and I wanted to use the facilities, but they insisted we had to make a purchase first. I didn't mind that, so I bought something. However, when my husband finished in the bathroom, the waitress asked him if he was going to buy something too since he'd used it as well. This meant we had to make two separate purchases, which felt excessive and a bit aggressive. It was quite an unreasonable experience.

My husband and I are visiting the area and we are extremely surprised by the quality of the sushi!
