Cafe Areni Kebab House - Sherman Oaks

Let's start with a good, this restaurant and getting two stars because the food was relatively tasty and the restroom was clean. Now for the bad, I took a look at the menu nothing looks super attractive. After deciding I want to show it take the server looks very confused while serving me the food. When I asked her for hot sauce, she gave me Srirachaa telling me at she thinks that it is spicy. Isnt the server supposed to know which sauce is hot sauce in which sauce is not?! In addition to my main dish I asked for some pickles that they had and the case she said she will give me some it took me about 15 minutes to remember that she forgot to give me some, and charge me for that without letting me know. About 30 minutes after finishing my food which was to oily(I've eaten in many Armenian restaurants before), my stomach started hurting and I got a little bit sick from the food. Must be very low quality meat. Aside my main dish I was charged $2.50 for three other things, seems weird to me that they are all priced the same. After all, I do not see any reason going back that place, especially because there are some magnificent Armenian restaurants in the area.

What a fantastic New addition to Sherman Oaks Cafes!! They offer a variety of Armenian and Russian dishes. Everything is daily fresh made (especially the grilled veggies) and is available to be served quickly upon ordering. My favorite dish was the chicken cutlet (so much flavor). The prices are fair and they have different options, including many Vegetarian and Vegan choices. They also have a take out option. If you're looking for that home cooked feel with a casual ambiance, this is definitely the place to come.

Never had Armenian food... and WOW! Packed with taste, a generous part and fast, friendly service. The Bruschetta type tomato sauce from this world. The roasted Jalapeño added something cough and cing. It also included a whole roasted tomatoes. The two cabbage salads, horrific! Thank you. Cafe Areni! I will be back soon to try some other deals!

I really love this place. I have been there for the first time today. Food is very delicious. Clean restaurant and good customer service as well. I will definitely come again. Every time I am convinced that the Armenians are good cooks ?

This place is the best Armenian cafe in LA. The service is amazing and super friendly. Everyone made me feel welcome and enjoy my experience. It is family owned cafe. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions are very filling. I will definitely come back often .
